Deities of Warlderia
The gods of Warlderia are not distant abstractions. Whether worshipped openly in great temples or quietly in isolated communities, they shape belief, authority, and daily life across the world. Yet the nature of the gods is not fully understood. Some believe they are active forces guiding events, while others see them as distant or indifferent. What is certain is that belief in them carries real consequences, political, social, and personal. No single pantheon is universally accepted. Different regions, cultures, and peoples interpret the gods in their own ways, and even shared deities may be worshipped very differently.
The Nature of the Gods
Across Warlderia, several ideas are widely held:
- The gods represent powerful forces such as war, life, death, and order
- Their influence is felt through belief, ritual, and those who serve them
- Direct divine intervention is rare, subtle, or disputed
- Knowledge of the gods is shaped as much by tradition as by truth
Faith is therefore as much about interpretation as it is about devotion.
